    Suspension Setup

My car, like most, has the drive select with the adjustable suspension. From my understanding, if I were to do a coilover system, I would get an error code because the car cannot communicate with the shocks. I guess you can buy a cancellation kit to negate this error code from the car. Would I be better off just buying springs and keeping the stock shocks so I don't have to deal with the cancellation kit? I plan to do front and rear sway bars too. What about kits that are just springs and shocks, wouldn't they get the error code too? I want to lower the car and Im the type of person that would put the coilovers on and never adjust them. Im thinking the springs might be the simpler way to go. Any thoughts or experience from anyone else?

Check out KW HAS. This will keep your stock socks so you don't have to buy a cancellation kit but will give you the ability to adjust the height of your car like CO's. I know have read that guys on here with adaptive suspension run these.

Would be my choice if you will never be using the adjustability of coilovers

I'm running Eibach springs on the ADS shocks, and I absolutely love the setup. I've run coilovers and cup kits on prior cars, but for street use, I'd say this setup wins. For track, you'll probably want something more aggressive.

I've ran coilovers on previous evos and they were a pain in the ass to get juts right...ride height is easy to set, but correctly corner balancing is a bitxh!

On the Audi I went with stock struts, H&R sport springs and f/r euro always with end links so I can set it and forget it. I have adaptive suspension also.

Good to know guys and I appreciate your input and feed back. I should have said that there will be no tracking this car. I had never really considered the HAS setup before so that is a possibility. It at least would would give the option of adjusting the height if I would need to. I just don't want to have to waste my money buying something just to keep it from throwing a code. I have time also, not looking to purchase anything until spring time.

I have the Eibachs' on OE shocks too.

The main reason I went with them is that they lower the front around 5mm more than the rear.
    A better balance IMO

Obviously, there are lots of different options depending on what you are after. If you want a relatively easy change, I'd agree with Audboost about the KW HAS springs. They are little more money then your "plain" springs, but they are adjustable and work well with the stock ADS dampers.

If you want to go further and get coil-overs, you might as well go for it and get the Bilstein B16. Here is a thread about them and why they are the bees knees (see posts by Rocket Tech):
