    Vibration from slipping clutch?

    Hey guys,

    I've got a stage 3 b7 a4. GT2871R with a stage 3 southbend clutch.

recently I noticed that as soon as the boost kicks in in anything 3rd gear and up I get a real nasty vibration along with the RPMs shooting up but the car not going any faster.

When I say vibration i mean the car is shaking almost as if the tires are spinning. Could the slipping clutch be causing the shaking? Or do I maybe have something else going on? Other than the shaking the car drives and shifts just fine. Is there any easy way I can confirm that the clutch is actually even slipping? If I try to very slowly bring on the power I can hit boost and bring it up to redline with no vibration. Its more or less just if I put the car in say 3rd then try to accelerate had. As soon as the boost kicks in the car shakes and the RPMS shoot up. If I hold it for a moment it will then catch and the car takes off.

    Any advice is appreciated.

so according to your signature, dead stop rev it to 5000K+ clutch dump, If you go forward rapidly bad, go forward slowly blown, go nowhere good to go

Lol he could try that and see how it goes. As to my saying that I put in my sig, I am just tried of stupid people with no common sense, it applies to that and many other situations/scenarios.

hah thanks guys. I tried the 60 roll in 6th test. the RPMS seem to come down how I thought they would. pretty normal

The only time I can get it to slip is when it hits about 10psi.
