strange warning icon on dash at startup...

Getting a windshield icon with a red lightning bolt with an arrow tip positioned top pointing down on my dash at start up.

Looked at the owners manual and only two icons appear close. One is washer fluid low. Not it... The other is a windshield with an exclamation point in the middle. Not it.

Again, red lightning point pointed down with an arrow tip in the center of windshield icon. Anyone know what that is? I suspect it is telling me it is really cold and fluid is possibly frozen or windshield has ice on it? Been single digit temps lately...

Is it on the left side, right side or top of the cluster? Is the windshield icon part yellow?

It's possible that your wiper control module could be faulty

It's in the center at the top. Typically when you see your radio station selection, etc...

Wouldn't that prevent the wipers from working? They work fine... Could it be for the rain sensor and it freezing?

Its just a guess but I've seen an A5 with codes for a faulty wiper control module even though they were still working normally. I can't remember what the warning symbol looked like but there was a message on the cluster that said "wiper system failure" along with it. I don't think it has anything to do with the rain sensor freezing since that's on the inside of the windshield. A picture would definitely help though.
