    Hi Guys.

Im from Denmark (so its not really really Cold, neither is it very warm)
We go between -10 celsius and +30 celsius (but most of the time its between 0 and 20)
Im having problem with my gearbox (Audi A4 2010) that it can be a little notchy for the very first time i shift into second. Im rolling of the block in first and i get a Little slightly notchy gearchange into second gear.

Im looking for an replacement oil which can give me the same level of protection but a Little better Cold shifting (it shifts really fine after 2-3 mins of drving)

Im now on Castrol Transaxle 75-90 gearoil as i always have thought castrol was THE OIL
Maby the Original oil i better, or another one?

    I hope you can help

    Best regards.

    Morten.

STOP! Go here and read http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...omatic-Quattro
DO NOT put anything other than the official ZF oi.

Also the transmission has a different program that runs when it is cold. It hold the gears longer to warm up quicker. Changing the oil and filter will make it smoother but it's only slight.
When you have driven for 20-30min. Turn off the car wait 5min and drive again, does it do this notchy driving? nope that's because the computer detected the oil is warm enough and did not activate the software to hold gears to warm up quicker.
