I have been chasing a clunk that seems to move around the car for several months. The clunk started several months after I installed my 034 rear sway bar. I checked the stock end links on my 034 rear sway bar (which were fine) and then replaced them with the 034 end links, but the clunk remained. At that point I had ruled out the rear sway bar. I checked and changed a whole bunch of other stuff as well, but to no avail. I grew frustrated and took the car to a local mechanic yesterday. They spent an hour going over it and found nothing. They looked at it some more and found an area where it seemed the sway bar was close to and possibly rubbing on the sub frame and control arms. They then suggested removing the sway bar end links and seeing if the noise went away. I drove the car without the end links and the noise was gone. I brought the car home and tried reinstalling the end links with the shortest height possible, figuring it would bring the bar away from what was above it, but it still makes noise. Pics are below. I plan to further investigate over the next few days. Any thoughts?

. Our place is rite on the Hudson River. Im 30 feet away from the water. And the wind is blowing harder then a professional hooker. So its cold as frozen
