2013 BMW 335i xdrive VS 2016 Audi s4, buy vs lease

Hello all, I've been in the Audi/VW family for 20+ years. I just traded in my 2011 a4 and picked up a Subaru crosstrek for my wife and took her old car, which is a 2008 Nissan Sentra, until I can find another car I like. I test drove 2 cars yesterday, a 2013 BMW 335i xdrive with the m-sport package and 19" wheels. I really liked the car, had everything I wanted and wasn't terrible on the price. I was looking for a used 2013 s4 in my area but I haven't had much luck finding any that were clean and to my liking. I ended up test driving a 2016 s4 and I loved it. We came up with a lease number which was $659/month for 36 months with 10,000 miles a year and that's with trading in my wife's old car, giving us $4000 for it. I think that's pretty high for a lease. I'm also considering s3's as well but I haven't test driven one. I did leave a deposit on the s4, they've located one at another dealer that I liked so I'm waiting a week. In the meantime I want to make sure I make the right decision. I love both the s4 and 335. My question is, is it better to lease the new s4 or just buy the 335. With the new s4 coming out next year, I'm afraid I'm paying too much for what's going to be the outdated model. I'm not crazy about the new s4 coming out as it won't have s-tronic, or the supercharger anymore. I just don't want to make the wrong decision. Thanks for the help.

An S4 optioned with sport diff s-tronic, nav, nappa is $54.8 sticker so you could easily get it for $52.

You could get an 84 month loan for 3% on $48,000 and that is slightly less than your lease payment.
After 3 years the balance of the loan would be $28,000 and the car is worth more than that.
A 3 year old S4 with the above options and 30,000 miles with CPO is going for $37,000, so say trade-in is between $30k and$34k, this is inline with KBB estimates also.

Because you're on the fence with the 335, you should have excellent bargaining position with the dealer as you're prepared to walk away.
