Rear LED fog lamps from deAutoLED installed- Error Free!

Hey I wanted to share these new Red LED Rear Fogs that got for my s3. The beam pattern is more evenly spread, they run cool, and will last for a very long time.

Stock against the garage is on the left while the LED's are on the right

Now my rear tails are FULL LED

The LED fog is cleaner (Less star burst glare created). While the Stock fog bleeds into part of the brake light and creates a star burst glare effect.

Not to mention I nearly burned myself pulling out the stock rear fog. it was extremely hot after being on for maybe 15-30 seconds only...

go with the LEDS much cleaner, cooler, better, longer lasting.

Thanks for the great review, for sure a much deeper red color which you want with fogs - the incandescent bulb was creating that orange/red color as it was a white light shining through a red housing - not a good look or much more visibility.

So are the rear fogs the inner bulbs that are replaced? I just installed my reverse LEDs and they were the outter most bulbs.

Just ordered a set of LED rear fogs and was wondering if they are just as easy to install?

yes- they are the inner bulbs.
remember: you should get the red LED rear fogs (not the whites)

We appreciate it, there is more vivid red light spread from these LEDs which is great for foggy situations vs the concentrated incandescent light that gets absorbed by the fog.

Let me know if these fit your S3, for some reason the fogs didn't fit my 16, perhaps the sockets are just different from 15. Reverse lights fit and look epic though

Will do. they are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. If I have time after work I'll try to install them.

So I installed the rear fog LEDs with zero issues. They are smaller than the reverse LEDs but they fit it without issues. When installing the rear fog LED, it goes in a specific way and then a 1/4 turn to lock it in place.

Oh and be sure that when testing the rear fogs that your trunk is CLOSED. I thought I had issues until I closed the trunk lid and then the rear fogs came on. Nice and bright with no bleed through like mentioned earlier in this post. Now the rear is all LEDs.

Maybe you were not installing the bulbs in a specific way?
