    Low offset require spacers?

Sorry to make another thread like this but specific wheel setup info is hard to find and I guess I don't have enough knowledge to interpret if other people's kinda close setups means mine would work or not. I found a set of wheels for sale locally for cheap that I like.

Wheels are 18x8 but the offset is unusual at ET25. I dont have tires yet so stretching is an option but I would prefer as minimal stretching as possible.

I saw on ECS they have 18x8 ET28 alzors and they say that an 8mm spacer is required to clear the caliper. Is this true? Couldn't find a lot on the forums to confirm. Also will I have rubbing problems on a lowered suspension? I'm on the stock suspension for now but will be getting coilovers in the spring.

My summer setup, 18x8 245/40, is at 27. I'm on sport suspension. Have not rubbed.

It depends on the wheel design-if the spokes are convex or concave. If ECS says they need 8 mm spacers, then I suspect that they have test fitted the wheels on the vehicle that you are planning to put them on and they know that it requires them.
