For those of you who have installed SS brake lines, can you describe the difference in feel?

    Was the upgrade worth it?

SS lines generally have minimal noticeable impact on a DD or street use only car. They can help slightly with pedal stiffness. One of the things that people profess after adding SS lines is that the brakes feel much better....and most of that improvement is from bleeding and replacing the brake fluid. If you track your car or are a VERY aggressive street driver you may find some slight improvement and if you deal with excessive heat then yes they MAY help. Otherwise a good brake flush does wonders.

If you car is over 5-6 yrs old the oem rubber lines could be deteriorating so upgrading to any good brake line (rubber or SS) will help, IMO.

I noticed a big difference at the track. Brakes more responsive, particularly as the day wore on and the fluid heated up, compared to having the hot fluid impacting the oem lines. Combining the SS lines with high-temp fluid was a huge improvement. But again, that's at the track. While I notice the difference in aggressive street driving, it's not nearly as much. Bottom line: cheap upgrade that has benefits in the right situation.

Suppose I'll skip the lines and just get some fluid then. Super dot4 is good?

You only need the high-temp fluid for the track. You're wasting your money to do it for street use. Plus you have to replace it once a year versus once every two years for regular fluid (because high-temp is hygroscopic). And you're looking at $80 or more for good high-temp fluid like Motul. You'll benefit from the better brake response even on the street with SS lines; you'll never feel a difference on the street with high-temp fluid.

I installed em in the fall when doing a brake fluid flush - figured why not?
    I don't track my car.
I noticed a more direct brake pedal feel which made it all worth it... because - when I installed ceramic pads a couple years ago I lost initial bite and some brake pedal feel (typical with ceramic pads)... with the SS lines I've regained much of that back.

If you install ss lines, make sure you check them every time you rotate tires. A few threads on them splitting and the driver losing breaking power. Scary feeling... They're worth the upgrade if you want a stiffer pedal for everyday use.
