    Windows and sunroof not working

    Hi guys i have a problem with my 1998 audi a4. The windows and the sunroof won't work from inside the car (with the buttons) but if i use the key to lock/unlock the car and hold it all four windows will go up and down. I don't get it. Any idea?

    Sorry if you have a hard time understanding im french canadian. eh.

    Ground # 900 provides the signal for all of the switches in the system other than (i assume) when the central locking module commands their action.
    If you need a wiring diagram you can PM me and I'll see if I can get you one.

    Id start by checking the resistance between G900 (bottom of left a pillar; brown wire) and the neg battery terminal.

    If you don't want to deal with the trim by the pillar you could also check for ground at pin6 on a front window motor connector (also brown wire).
