How to wire in stereo without plug and play harness?

Hello everyone I drive a b6 s4 and have the bose system. I recently purchased a pioneer avic120bt and want to install it but I can't find the right harnesses for the plug and play. I pulled out the stock radio and there's two wire harnesses, and two antenna plugs. I don't need radio right away, but would love it if someone would provide me instructions on how to hardwire the new radio in. I don't know what wire is what and help would be great. Thanks!

Don't do it. You should get a 'pigtail' or adapter harness for aftermarket stereos, for your car specifically. Do NOT cut the wires/ quadlock connector off from the cars harness, you'll regret it.
You want some variety of a thing like this:
    Clickity Harnessy Clickery
That you plug into the chassis harness and it leaves you with wires to splice your stereo to. Likely need to add RCA or other connections for your config. There are better ones out there, but it's a start. But..don't CUT the cars wiring.
Also need a version of the antenna adapter- for what it's worth. Unless you live in a city with GREAT radio stations and powerful signal you will lose MOST of your radio reception.

    I concur.

Just get the harnesses. With my B6 I got mine from Crutchfield. All you have to do is wire the harness to the aftermarket head unit based on the wiring diagram that comes with it. Then it just plugs in directly to the Audi harness. Real simple and easily reversible.

Check the forum for threads on installing an aftermarket head unit in a B6/B7. Its more complex than most. You also need a trim kit, mounting bracket/cage, etc to do a full install.

I didn't like that the crutchfield harness was not 100% PnP. You still have to bring over a power wire.

If you get the right combination of Enfig adapters, it's 100% PnP. You just have to make room for all the extra bulk and radio depth since there's an HVAC duct behind the radio.

Here are couple other radio replacement interfaces from Pac-Audio that work very well.

X2. I used Enfig to install my AVIC8100-NEX and it was 100% PnP. No cutting, no crimping, no soldering. It was all done for me and ready to go. I told them what vehicle, what options and they supplied me with everything I need. I would go with them again in a heartbeat just for simplicity sake.
