Does the S (sport) mode vs D mode alter the stability control to allow for more tail wag?

Just curious what else it impacts besides throttle response.

    Thanks!

I think S is the same as setting the engine to dyamic via ADS. It will modify rpms and hold gears longer, and I think is required as the first step to use launch control; however, S will not modify steering/suspension/sport diff/engine sound. For those you would need to select dynamic in the drive select. So you can either go full dynamic mode on all systems via ADS, or just the engine by switching it into S...my observations at least.

No, but you can alter that with your sport diff settings, assuming your car has a sport dif. More stability control will give you less tail wag. Auto will be defualt. Comfort will give you less stability and Dynamic will give you more. Not adjustable without sport dif.

    ??

I'm confused by staying comfort will give less stability and dynamic more?

From what I have read sport diff is more stable with Comfort setting.
