I understand what you're saying. Personally, I utilize a high quality floor jack and jack stands that are about $800 combined. With the QuickJack it provides all those items all in one. Also, with the QuickJack you're able to raise the car all at once - easy. Thanks for your feedback.

How high does this get the bottom of the car off the ground? I've been looking for a solution to do a clutch on my mustang that doesn't involve a full size lift. Unfortunately a regular jack and jack stands won't get it high enough

My brother got this for his Mustang and for changing out the exhaust. It goes pretty high and he loves it.

The BL-3500 SLX specs are as follows:

Platform lifting height (Frame only) - 16.5” / 419 mm.
Platform lifting height (with small rubber block) - 17” / 432 mm.
Platform lifting height (with tall rubber block) - 18.5” / 470 mm.
Platform lifting height (with stacked rubber blocks) - 20” / 508 mm.

The BL-5000SLX specs are as follows:

Platform lifting height (Frame only) - 17.2” / 437 mm.
Platform lifting height (with small rubber block) - 17.8” / 452 mm.
Platform lifting height (with tall rubber block) - 19” / 483 mm.
Platform lifting height (with stacked rubber blocks) - 22.5” / 572 mm.

The BL-7000SLX (with SUV adapters) specs are as follows:

Platform lifting height (Frame only) - 17.7” / 450 mm.
Platform lifting height (with small rubber block) - 18.2” / 462 mm.
Platform lifting height (with tall rubber block) - 19.2” / 488 mm.

Once i get a house with a garage, this is the first thing i am getting.

I'm bookmarking this thread. After lifting i'm probably going to use jack stands on the lift points. Where would be a safe location to place this under a A4? Pictures?

It is a pretty great jack! Very convenient and easy to use. It's recommended to lift at the jacking points. I believe your owners manual should tell you where these are. Maybe someone with a B8 A4 that has a QuickJack will chime in and post an image of where they jack theirs from with it.
