PSA: Always run throttle body adjustment after ANY intake work

So I was replacing my injector seats yesterday/today. I got it all put back together and started it up Misfire on cyl 1 then cyl2. I didnt disconnect the throttle body or the battery so was kinda wondering if i needed to do a TBA anyway. I did however clean the IAT sensor. So As kinda a stab in the dark I ran the throttle body adjustment via VCDS. Wham, idle fine, no more misfires. Just thought I would share incase anyone runs into something similar. I am guessing the IAT sensor being cleaned change how much fuel was being added.

Did this job 2 weeks ago, I had also misfire right after when I started engine, but only for few seconds. I did not do throtle body alignment. I replaced suction pump, camshaft position sensor and camshaft tensioner. Now works fine.

A lot of things can be wrong. Maybe some piece of old seat went into valves and there is no compression, or just injector went bad, broken wire from injector. That's my ideas.

Get a new ones. They cost few $. Also remember about new injector o-rings. Apply some grease on them, before you install injectors.

well these injectors are like 2 years old if that, They use the EV6 connector which unlike the stock ones dont have a metal clip to hold them on, they are plastic and totally broken now. I got some coming tomorrow

I am thinking it has to be that injector connector, because if I let it run in the driveway idling for 20 min it never misses. I drive it down the street and it misses. Must be the vibrations messing with it

I had my throttle body aligned by the dealer due to a misfire. It happens again so they are replacing the throttle body now. Does this make sense?
