Led tails in a 2009 no conclusive evidence

All the threads I have read do not have conclusive evidence if it is possible or not, has anyone done the retrofit?

Not sure what you mean by "own" lights? The taillights are OE genuine Audi LED taillights.

Harnesses and/or plugs are included with the kits as needed. Each kit is different, but includes what is needed for installation.

I meant oem, it was a typo, thanks for the clarification, bag com is needed for coding, correct?

Yes you need vag com.

Those kits above are for RoW lights with amber blinkers.

If you want to install NA LEDs with red blinkers, then you have to make a harness. The wiring diagram isn't widely known.

Vag-Com Hex-Can is required for the installation.

This is correct. The kits available are all based on Rest of World taillights which have the separated orange turn signal.

Not to hijack this thread, but I wanted to confirm alex@europrice, if I wanted to, I could swap ecode headlights (all clear) and ecode tails (with orange signals) on my B8.5 S4 with the lights guys sell, correct? All parts required for install included in the list price, just need VAG-COM to program the lights?

This is correct. The taillights require two wires to be run and instructions plus the wiring is included to do this. Then Vagcom is used to code the setup. Note that the rear taillights are prepared here for North America use specifically with that setup.
