    Front suspension - straight arms?

I'm working on getting my bros audi back on the road. Took it to the shop and they said it straight arms and bushings need to be replaced.

Does he mean control arms and control arm bushings? I've replaced those before so they shouldn't be an issue...just want to make sure I have the correct part he is referring to before I go an order them.

*Also, anything else I should take care of while I'm down there? Car has 120k on it.

    Thanks!

Holy crap that is really cheap, anyone ever order from this seller?
Just the links by themselves run for close to that much from 034...
"Are you actually asking that question.. Just don't even post on my thread. why do I need to lie on an Audi forum about me fucking two bitches at once. (not literally) yes i did, you are late to the party.
and this thread has ran out of gas. I just wanted to tell people about my experience I had 2 nights ago and felt like sharing it with my fellow B6'ers. And I thank the people who didn't hate."

Since the car is at the shop getting the J plug fixed, my dad decided to just get the straight arms done. I think they said it was the lower ones. Charging $400. The mechanic said they (including bushings) looked so bad he didn't want his tech to take it for a test drive. I told my pops I could do them on my own for $100 in parts but he decided the extra $300 was worth it just for the safety and to have someone else take care of it.

i was looking at $100 alone for the lower control arms from rock auto. That is where I usually (and was going to go to) for them. I found that set on ebay but i'm sort of weary about ordering parts that don't have a name brand behind it.

Thats a little too cheap for me. I gotta worry something was sacrificed to make that price point. FCP Euro offers a set of arms with S4 tie rod ends too (might as well). $245 free shipping and lifetime warranty
