1996-98 Euro like trunk swap

I had my A4 trunk swapped and my 2000 S4 trunk license mounting plate isn't a direct swap (narrower mounting holes) and sadly my A4 trunk didn't come with it. Those that have swapped...what did you do? I'm assuming you had the A4 mounting plate? :)

i got a euro plate...with a frame. drilled holes to match the trunk in the euro frame. then i drilled holes in the fatter side of the euro frame and put in bolts from the rear of the frame that correspond with the us plate. then just capped them off with some nice nuts.
