Question Anyone recommend a good exhaust for an Audi A4 B5 1.8t? (plan on adding TP/DP)

Right now I have the stock exhaust with two mufflers and the cat. I want full piping all the way through, anyone have any recommendations? I'm not trying to spend $600-$700 as it much it cost on techtonicstuning. What brands are good with this car? I've heard of magna flow and borla. I also don't want a drone sound, I want light deep sound on acceleration.

Find your self a shop and get a custom straight and get a Muffler. I'm running hollow cat full 2.5" straight to 3" muffler. Or find someone that welds and save your self some money rather then going to a shop

I went with resonated milltek catback, nice sound and performance without the race boy exhaust note. The way it should of came from factory.

I picked up a used Borla catback for $300 and I'm pretty happy with it. Sounds nice, not too loud.

    Also running a 034 HFC.

This it's a daily occurrence these days. And if going custom make sure they can actually mandrel bend,

2.5 is best for up to frankenturbo sized and 3inch is better for big turbo. Ssac, cx racing and similar are basically crap.
Borla, magnaflow, miltek, 42draft designs, and many other company's make quality peices in various sizes.

If I was buying one id go 42draft designs it's got vband options good sizes and uses magnaflow mufflers.

Your best option on a budget will probably be to check the sale section for good deals on a used system, or piece the universal components and have them welded. We offer a pretty big selection of mufflers, X-pipes etc that work great for custom exhaust systems. If you have any questions about what to use, feel free to shoot us a call or PM!

I remember back in the days, Magnaglow used to offer a full 3" system for our car. Sad stuff like that is no longer offered.

What Borla and Magnaflow mufflers will fit on my car? I've seen a few on eBay like this http://www.ebay.com/sch/sis.html?_nk...d=390465347633

But not sure if they will fit or not, anyone have any experience of doing this?

I was thinking of doing 3" custom all the way back and remove old resonator until it bends, than from there do stock or 2.5" piping to Borla, is that possible?
