I'm looking for more of a bluish hint to my HID. I'm running the stock bulb with matching hid fogs. Being the LED strip on my 11 s4 is white I'd like a little different color coming from the headlight. Can you suggest a bulb? The new Toyota corrola HID's always turn my head lol.

The stock bulbs run 4.5k or 5k if I'm not mistaken (which is daylight temp color).
If you want more blue you need a higher 'k' bulb. I would not go any higher than a 6k bulb on this car.
4.5k or 5k is going to give you the best light output - ...

It's hard to tell what would be the best for what you are looking for but IMO, you should not go anything higher than 6000K as MrFunk mentioned.
Philips X-tremeVision has been very popular because it gives up to 5000K color (starts at 4800K) with up to 50% more light.
This would not give blueish color but just clean white color with more light.
If you just want bluer color, check out our Blesk D3S bulbs rated at 5000K or 6000K.

    Thank You,

    Thanks for the info.
Stock bulb is 4300K (actual kelvin is about 4100K).

Many similar question was received asking what we would recommend using for fogs.
We have high performance halogen bulbs but for those who look for pure white color, longer lifespan, energy efficient, and of course more brightness, check out our M'autolite LED's for your fogs that give 5500K and 2500lm (stock halogen bulb gives about 1200lm).
    http://www.hidconcept.com/brands/M%27AUTOLITE.html

They are confirmed not to throw error message on B8/B8.5 A4/S4/A5/S5, and Q5.
Other models can still use them with load resistors.
Good combination would be Philips X-tremeVision HID bulbs with M'autolite LED for fogs.

Very interested in the Mautolite fogs... Is there a benefit/difference in performance between the fanless and fan included fog lights? Risk of over heating/melting? Longevity? Also interested in the Philips Ultinon 6000k headlights but I cannot find a good gauge as to the actual color on these, some people say icy gray, some say blueish/purple, can you confirm? I'm really looking to upgrade to that more Icy gray look that the b8.5 DRLs give off. Thanks in advance. Hopefully would like to order during the President day sale.

We are against LED's with bulky cooling fan because it not only takes up extra space but failure in fan will also cause the malfunction of LED's since it can no longer cool it down.
Therefore, M'autolite LED with flexible cooper heat sink is ideal.
It never gets too hot. When we ran a test to have it stay lit for about 10 days straight, we were still able to touch the heat sink without burning ourselves.

Philips 6000K LED's are good as well except for higher price. The color is just pure white but please note that people have different standards when it comes to coloring.
I really don't think there is any purple though.

If you do search on the forum, you can find many photos of M'autolite LED's installed on B8 and B8.5.

I just ordered a set of the Philips 2700k LED Fogs in Golden Yellow. $135 shipped is the cheapest i have seen them anywhere on the net, and that's if they even have them in stock or listed.
I'm excited to get them and install, i think they will pair well with the Philips X-tremevision HID bulbs that are already installed.

I appreciate the sale price to start, then another 10% off!

I think that either going for complete matching color or completely opposite color is the best way to go, so you did make a right choice IMO.

    I'm sorry.
You must have tried when we were working on to fix it.
We basically reached allowed number of use for the coupons but it's all fixed now. Give it another try.
