Friday Cruise (Denver Area)

I know it's super late notice, but a buddy of mine who owns a B6 and I are going to do a cruise this Friday afternoon (2/12) and welcome anyone who wants to join. We were thinking of either cruising up 285 or Sadalia and hitting some of the twisty roads up there as the weather should be real nice (obviously staying off dirt roads). I know a lot of people have class or work Friday but we'll be heading out around late morning and it would be cool to get some other Audi drivers together and drive some twistys. I'll make a route when I get home tonight so post up if you're down to cruise and we can make a meeting location and time. Hope to get a chance to meet some of the other fellow Audi drivers in the Denver area...

So there's a few people in for the cruise. If anyone has nothing to do Friday and wants to join here's the route we're planning to take.

We'll be meeting at 12pm at the Home Depot on 470 and 285, then cruise up 285 to Pine Valley Rd and take that to deckers and meet at an ice cream shop there. For the way back we'll take Deckers road the same way we came in but in Buffalo Creek we'll turn right on SW Platte River Rd and take that to Foxton Rd. Foxton to 285 where we'll catch Pleasant Park Rd taking that through Deer Creek Canyon and ending at 470 and Wadsworth. Total trip should be about 95 miles. Here's the directions on Google Earth:

Next time I'll plan way ahead for something like this, but I figured I'd make a post just for the hell of it if anyone's interested.

So my buddy and I ended up cruising just the two of us with a couple friends. Other than his clutch blowing up and my gopro falling off the car and blowing up we had a great time! The weather and road conditions were great so if the weather stays warm who would be interested in doing something like this with much earlier notice? I think it'd be fun to have a decent size audizine cruise every once in a while. I'll get some pictures and videos up too.

Those are nice, But I never saw myself running 19's. And with the car being lowered I don't see them fitting...

B7s can run 19s. Unless you are on the ground they will fit. No worries though.

Hahaha, I'm a sophomore, but my buddy that drives the B6 is in high school... I think he's 16 or 17, never asked him if he had a license

B7s can run 19s. Unless you are on the ground they will fit. No worries though.
