Why does my boost cut off completely at 5500 Rpm like it holds a solid 22 and after 5500 Rpm then the gauge just drops to 0PSI

Is this like a safety feature so i do not over boost

    HELP PLEASE!

Have you scanned for codes? Even with no Check Engine Light there can still be codes stored.

gtx turbo and yes no codes

i think it might be my revo tune

does a tune do this for safety because it will hit 29psi and then hold 25psi and then at 5500rpm it goes to 6psi

    any thoughts?

(the reason why in the first post it says 22 is because that was a low boost tune so i turned it to full boost to see if that would fix it and that's why the numbers in this post are different)

Should probably contact Revo and ask them if that's a feature in their software. Also, if you have access to VCDS, take some logs with requested vs actual boost.

You definitely need to log your actual versus requested boost. This will tell you if the boost cut is being controlled by the ECM (limp mode) or if its a mechanical problem.
