I am not sure of the strength needed and obviously these are not stock replacements so use are you own risk :D

So while changing the struts (coilovers) a while back I had a really hard time getting all the bolts loose (damn salt from the roads) and while I was attempting to get the #6 bolt (picture below) out it stripped the flat part of the arm (not sure of the technical term) where it stops the bolt from moving so the bolt now spins freely. I am looking to get a replacement bolt for the #6 (restraining bolt) that has a standard head on it.

Any ideas on this or if anyone knows the thread/length/pitch of the bolt?

There is a pretty good thread posted recently about removing the pinch bolt without a torch or ruining your control arms. I think the info you need is posted there.

The problem isn't removing it, its that I stripped out the part thats stops the flat spot of the head on the #6 bolt, so now I have to use a vice grip to take the bolt out. I want to replace the bolt entirely.

Thank you sir. I have found numerous kits with the bolt in them but nothing showing the exact sizes. Not to keep asking but any idea on the strength needed?

If you're talking about the tie rod pinch bolt then yes it's m10x50. fly300kts is referring to the upper control arm pinch bolt

edit: just saw your edited title

HA! Either way the help is appreciated by both parties. I will be looking for a new standard (6 point head) bolt to replace it because the flat side simply doesn't catch anymore. Also it is a good way to tear up your hards using vice grips.. ask me how I know.

    Thank you guys both.
