This is the dual high power version of the LI system. Previously mounted inside headlights so zero damage to laser diodes.

If you have a heavy foot this is perfect for you. Retails for 1400...paid for itself in the first 6 months of owning it. Easy install and operation.

Pulled out of my E46 M3 and needs a new home.

    $700.00 PM for more details.

Did you use this in conjunction with a V1 or Escort Passport? I have the new Escort Passport (not Max), but still have the V1 that was in my GT-R, and is still the current version. I'm thinking of taking the Escort Passport out and selling it, and putting the V1 in.

You can use it alone or with a radar...thet are independent systems. I just layered the protection.

My understanding is that, hypothetically, once your radar detector picks up the LIDAR signal and you receive the alert, you slow down to the posted speed (assuming you were speeding, that is), then turn off the laser jammer.

Correct. That's how you use it. That allows the cop to actually get a reading off you. It's easy after a few interations.

The LI system alerts you with an audible alarm when you're hit with laser, too, so no need for a radar detector as it relates to being alerted.

Are quad heads overkill? I would think that most vehicles are targeted for speed violations by law enforcement, by the officer pointing at the front of the vehicle. I suppose there are remote possibilities that a vehicle could drive past an officer, and said officer could point their LIDAR unit at the rear of the vehicle.

I know guys with the 4 head system...just depends on what you want to run, but I didn't go that route...I didn't see a need. This system can be upgraded to 4 sensor if you buy to more from LI

I've done some research on laser jammers, and at times the, "reviews", say one product is better than the other, and then you go to another site and it can be the other way around. I just want something that will be pretty darned effective in blocking LIDAR. My V1 is pretty good at detecting other radar, but as you know, even though it will detect LIDAR, once it does, it's too late.

Before I bought this I asked around alot...while the Internet had various opinions...everyone I talked to in person raved over this. Either way...this system works no doubt about that. I loved it and I'd keep it but I don't drive that way anymore.

Mostly used when I was on the west coast make convoy runs to Vegas and what not

Couple more questions. One, how long have you had this, and is there a warranty left on it? Two, to re-ask an earlier question, when police employ LIDAR, is it typically targeted at the front of a vehicle?

I bought it in 2012...summerish. I'm not sure if there is a warranty at all. I guess you could check the site but I'd guess it would be over now.

Yes...if you are getting targeted from the front the aim point is the license plate I'd there is one or the headlights...hence why I mounted them in the headlights

Here are some shots installed. Zoom into the headlights. I recommend a install location like this to protect the diodes.

It took me over a year to sell my brand new in box blinder jammers. I had researched them both as well and it seemed that the LI and the Blinder were at the top of the charts. The only thing that sold me on the blinder was the smaller diode. GLWS!

I wish you the best of luck with selling this system, but you may want to take a look at what these have actually been selling for. Around $300 would be a much more realistic asking price.

I am very interested in buying it, but not for the price listed. I looked and found one that is identical to yours , sold for $232.50 If your willing to come down i rather buy from a forum member. The prices pretty much tanked for a LI system since the AL systems are out now.

this is an outstanding all in one system. i have one in my GT3 and it is perfect...doesnt take up much space at all. though...as far as accuracy and distance to detection...ive found that the LI was more accurate at picking up hits...especially when you factor in terrain.

but when it comes to look at install...this one is way better than the LI...no comparison.

Do these need LOS (line of sight) or can they be mounted behind the plastic (RS5) grill? Also, how hard is it to take the headlight apart?
