Paint Deteriorating, Options?

Hello Detailing forum, after several years of parking outside the paint on the front driver's side door is deteriorating. It first started to look like a bunch of small scratches, then some bird crapped on it, but was cleaned up. Now the clear coat and paint is gone sorta of . Anyways what are my options? Repaint? Wet sanding (have not done this before)?

Also, the majority of the time it's parked directly at the sun and I wash it about twice a month.

Actually yes, had someone hit the side of the door, then had it replaced and re-sprayed. I'm guessing it's too far gone for a spot fix?

Yup, the damage is irreversible at this point. Too bad...
