Do a search for "MMI reset" I just do not remember the 3 keys you need to hold down together.

I had this same exact issue when i bought an MMI off ebay. Turns out it was a corrupted HDD and the unit would not boot into QNX (our MMI systems utilize QNX RTOS).

There is a chance that the battery swap may have done the same (worst case scenario). Just my $0.02.

Are you sure that the battery was coded properly via VCDS? Maybe your car is going into low power mode because it thinks the battery is drained.

Hey all - thought I'd tag along here (2010 A6 w/3G MMI Nav). Having the same problem this morning - no battery change or temp/liquid causes. No sound and no lights on the buttons. Interestingly, when I hard/force reset it, it comes on with the splash screen and then dies after about 3 seconds.

I don't know much, but I believe this means it's getting power fine and receiving signals from the buttons just fine. Anyone have any thoughts? (Will scan when I get home tonight). Thanks in advance!

2010. so my Sirius was not connecting last night, car switched to FM on its own and now Sirius is Gone, as in not on any screens, like the car deleted it or as if the car never had it in the first place.

Everything else works 100% normal. Car was in for a oil change at my shop but can't see how a scan jacked anything.

Anyone have a clue? I'm about to do a hard reset-

    Thanks

Having the same issue, dash and mmi were shutting off this week and pulled the codes which were for low voltage. Replaced the battery and the mmi now randomly shut off but radio kept working fine. Re started the car and all is fine. Haven’t had a chance to recode the battery yet. Did you guys ever figure what was wrong?

mantech4 - Having identical issue. Did you find a resolution? I tried a replacement MMI control module which resulted in the same issue - screen lights up for a few seconds and then shuts down.

Before this happened, I had a dead battery so I had thought related to this, however my independent repair tells me no. I am not so sure. They tried a battery hard reset but did not help. Any info sincerely appreciated!

    Thanks
