    I just got my b6 s4 over the weekend and I noticed that every time the drivers door is open it shows the passenger side on the cluster display and vice versa... Does anyone know how to fix this issue??

    Mine does this as well. I think it started after I disabled the seat belt chime and added remote windows up/down via this --> http://nickscarblog.com/cars/must-ha...6-and-b7-audis

    Either way, the car seems to think it's right-hand drive. Possible that mucking about with the region settings in VCDS did this. I haven't rolled back the codes to verify though.

    Just visualize the image of the car as seen from underneath. Problem solved. You are welcome.

    Adf had a good point. Change the region of the car and it should be fine. You gotta use vag com

    I am not sure what the coding is on your car, but open vagcom, go to instruments, click coding, and the 5th digit should be 2

    00xx?x1: Country
    0 = Germany (D)
    1 = Rest of World (RoW)
    2 = USA (US)
    3 = Canada (CAN)
    4 = Great Britain (GB)
    5 = Japan (JP)
    6 = Saudi Arabia
    7 = Australia (AUS)

    I've made those two changes and i don't have this problem. I haven't changed the region, though, which I believe would be done if you wanted to change the way the headlights and foglights work, so I'm guessing that's the culprit

    So I finally got to check this and it does indeed show USA in recode... Any other suggestions?

    I'm bringing this back to life here since I'm having the same issue and think that I reverted everything back to what it once was, but the front doors are still reversed.

    If anyone fixed this, please let me know how and what you did.

    Currently, I'm hoping that I have an eeprom dump of the cluster stored from a time prior to making this change and a reflash will revert it back....

    Update if it matters to anyone. I fixed this by recoding the Central Convenience module via the long coding helper. I had a RHD option checked and removed this. Back to normal.
