Creative side mounting brackets for rs4(rep/real) bumper to s4.

My rs4 rep bumper suffered some catastrophic damage and about 50 feet of abs welding rod later, shes ready for paint. I previously had the sides mounted using two screws going through holes I drilled in the bottom of each fender. I'd like to make a more friendly mounting system that's easier to get to and maybe even using quick disconnect pins. Obviously, I want to keep it hidden. Just reaching out to anyone with experience and what solution you came up with. Pictures, if possible, would be an extra bonus. Thanks

Ive seen this type used and turns out pretty sweet.
Easy to use, stout, and fairly incognito so looks good.

There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

Wow.. Ive see the mod before, and wasn't really interested, but after seeing the video, thats awesome!!

Treysgreen, I'm assuming thats your car, what size did you buy? Sorry if I missed it in the diy. And what do you still run the two allen bolts in the front grilles? or does this eliminate that too?

The Quik-Latches can be a decent option, particularly if you have a black or silver car where they are less noticeable, but it still detracts from the "clean" look to some degree.

Most people aren't removing their bumpers often, so IMO it's better to just secure it with something hidden.

I'm working on this right now with my car, i like the clean look and I'm working on trying to get the quick releases mounted backwards. i have the pin epoxied to the bumper and the latch itself mounted on the metal part of the fender where the stock bumper guides were. still working on making it all work together but it will be very clean when its completed. just another option.....
