    Common wheels between B7 A4 and RS4

I was thinking about getting a cheap second set of wheels with winter tires. What wheel/tire specs am I looking for that could fit a B7 A4 and an RS4?

19 would be preferable, but I think fitment on the A4 would be problematic...

Good luck. I looked and searched and mounted multiple types, sizes, offsets of OEM wheels looking to do the same thing and didn't have much luck. OEM offset is 29 but it's all in the shape of the spokes to get around the brakes. I ended up spending the $ and getting Hartman DTMs which bolted right on with no issues whatsoever.

The 18x8 et45 B6 S4 Avus wheels clear RS4 front brakes with a 10 mm spacer and the rear brakes without a spacer. That way you can run a 245/40/18 tire which is really close to the stock A4 and RS4 tire sizes too. You can pick up used Avus wheels for cheap since they are very common. It might not be a 19 inch wheel but I personally would rather run a smaller wheel and tire with more sidewall during winter anyways to absorb the impacts from potholes.

Just wondering, why does your choice have to fit both an A4 and RS4? Do you really want to have to swap wheels and tires every other day or few days? This thread just seems weird to me but it could just be me.

    Jimmy,

I just had it in my head that I could find some peelers or rotor wheels that might fit both. Ha, no intention of swapping with any regularity. If I could buy wheels for the A4 that I could still use for the RS after I sell the car for winter wheels, I would somehow feel like I got my money's worth.
