I want to stream via bluetooth from my phone - music!!

Yes, I have searched the site and found some answers. But everything is time stamped a little old and thought to ask today as a result of some of the examples are no longer out there.

I have a 2012 S5 and cannot stream music or play from my iTunes library from my phone. So, I wanted to find the easiest and most efficient way to do so. Looks like there may be some options that plug into the AMI cord, but some of those options are no longer available. What is everyone using and what works the best?

Sorry for rehashing an old topic, but would like to get some opinions.

I just purchased a Tune2Air and it works like a charm - what's great is that your phone connects via Bluetooth to both your car AND the Tune2Air unit simultaneously, so you don't lose the ability make/receive phone calls, etc. I have the model 3000 (latest), which works wonderfully, and it even integrates with the car's interface, so I can use the steering wheel/center console buttons to navigate through my music.

I bought this to test it out just the MMI to 3.5 adapter http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o02_s00 Works great, but i haven't ran the wire so i have had to keep the glove box open while driving lol. IS there a adapter part for this to make it bluetooth, or do i just need to buy the tune2air? Just curious.

I just have just man'd up and bought the tuneair the first time. I didn't think i would use it often as i listen to sports talk radio a lot while driving.

To be fair, there is an issue with iPhones that has music "skipping" slightly on occasion. This seems to happen with all Tune2Air's and versions of iOS. It's not a dealbreaker, but it is important to be aware of.

My wife sometimes wants to play music from her phone instead of my phone. We have both of our phones paired with my car. You can either select a different source through the MMI, or you can simply turn off your bluetooth and have the passenger turn theirs on (assuming it's also already paired).

If your passenger only wants their audio to come through and not their phone calls, they need to configure their bluetooth settings to allow for Audio only.

Priced at about the same, described features are identical, but you get less because it is banking on you having your own cable. Tune2air comes with a built-in cable. Just a heads up as not everyone may have the cable at this point.

I second Tune2Air. have been satisfied with the purchase/product. does occasionally act funny when listening to songs on YouTube tho... Soundcloud, Google Play and Apple Music work great though. I have a iPhone 5s w/iOS software v. 9.2.1 if that helps any

I shouldn't have been a cheap ass and bought the MMI to 3.5mm and just got the Bluetooth one for $90 like the fiancé told me to. I could run the cable under the seat, that's what I was used to in my B5 S4. But hey I was experimenting. I've just cruised around with the glove box open since the cable is like 6 feet long lmao. Gotta set cash aside for those exterior mods tho, those are the ones that matter more :)

I have the tune2air WMA3000 with my galaxy s6 and lollipop but I can't see song titles etc with Spotify and Google music. I'm on 2G MMi. Any ideas?
