How many mityvac pumps does it take to pressurize wastegates?

Trying to verify my WGs are synced on F21s since I can't get past 17psi. I pulled the bottom hose off the n75 and hooked up the mityvac and pumped the shit out of it for several minutes and couldn't get the wastegates or the gauge on the mityvac to budge. Also tried a bike pump (for more volume) and I could hear air through the intake (x34 intake), not sure if it was leaking though. Does it take a ton of pumps before building pressure with a mityvac?

Correct, pressurizing to check WGs are cracking simultaneously. Mityvac is set to pressure.

you shouldn't have an issue doing it with a mighty vac on pressure. Are you sure you are on the wastegate hose and not the reference hose?

I think this was my issue. Going by this diagram, it looks like I was pressurizing the charge pressure line instead of the control line.

Are you sure that some how you got the lines mixed up on the N75. Like Zba said if you are most likely charging the reference hoses if you are hearing air in the intake. I would double check everything. I have even seen some cars with the reverence lines and wastgate lines mixed and matched at the tees. Just make sure you have new tees available before you start poking around because they will break.

This could also be possible, will have to double check everything. Thanks
