    Buyer beware?

Audi newbie here. Looking at purchasing a 09 A4 2.0T with 100k miles. I've read the posts about high mileage vehicles being okay as long as they have been maintained. This particular vehicle is having the turbo and timing belt replaced. Should I be concerned that it's starting to surcum to its age and miles and move on or look at it as a fresh 100k miles on 2 of the more costly items to replace and buy it? The pistons were replaced at 70k due to the oil consumption issue. I checked with the dealer, all of the scheduled maintenance had been done on the car up to 75k. It hasnt had the 100k service yet. Appreciate your opinions.

If they can verify the power steering hose and the upper control arms have been changed it would help. On the test drive turn in a parking lot at like speeds and feel for the steering wheel to shudder ( hose). At highway stopped feel for steering wheel vibration. Don't buy off on "we will have the tire balanced"

For starters, welcome to Audizine! This is a reasonable question, although as Infiltrator mentioned it could have been asked in the stickied thread. I'm with Wyld on this one; it sounds like the major issues from 2009 are documented as having been addressed with this particular car. Check that the control arms and the steering hose were addressed under the service bulletin, and make sure they do the timing chain tensioner as part of the repair its in for now. After that you should be pretty much good to go.
