    Wheel fitment

Happy Super Bowl everyone! Anyways, spied some 19's being sold locally that I'm going to take a look at tomorrow. I understand that the center bore of the C7 is bigger so at minimum I'll be needing hub centric rings. My understanding is that the bolt pattern on the C7 is the same, 5x112. The wheels have a 45 mm offset. The ones on my car right now have a 48mm offset, so what does that mean in terms of how things will look visually, etc? Anyways, all info is greatly appreciated!

    Wheels in question.

Thanks Dutch! Besides, that I shouldn't have any issues in terms of fitment aside from needing the adapters correct?

Outside of the hub centric rings you shouldn't need anything, your eyes won't notice 3mm, that's such a small change.

to OP: if you plan on mounting those directly (with the same tires), note that you are 1.2" taller than stock! that might rub, even if pushed out that 3mm (about 1/8")....

    Anyone else think they'll rub?

Couldn't see the listing because it was taken off craigslist. But, note what tires are on there, different tire brands actually size slightly different. I now rub under load with my MPSS that are the same size as my previous tires (conti i think?).

c@@kie - I dont think you will rub considering the offset is still pretty shallow. Granted, the tires are 1.2 inches taller overall, but that will only translate into .6 inches taller from center hub to outer tire. The 255/40 is pretty meaty (sidewall width). I would look at dropping to 255/35 when if/when you get new tires.

Thanks sin. That's the plan. Since the tires still have 6/32 left, I'll use them up for the time being.
