Snub Mount Installation Problems - Should've been an easy install...

    Hey,

So I did a timing belt job on my s4 and I thought what the hell I might as well do a snub mount while I'm at it. I put the snub mount onto the spindle and then when I tried putting the core support back on none of the bumper support bolts would line up properly. I've read some DIYs and seen a few videos and it seemed like it was cake for everyone. What am I missing here?

you have to loosen the snub cage bolts so the cage can seat on the snub itself, then tighten them down once everything lines up. every car is different and the new snubs have tight clearances

Thanks for the tip! I'll try that next time.
