for those of us running B6/7 S4 front brakes, I have a questiom

After it was made known that the Q5 3.0 tdi calipers are direct bolt on to our cars with 345x30 rotors I was under the impression that the Q5 3.0 rotor and the b6/7 S4 rotor are the same. They are the same size, but I wonder are they the same offset?
ECS sells the 345x30 Q5 rotors for cheaper than they sell the S4 345x30 rotors, I have the ECS slotted gemet coated s4 rotors (I love them too), they cost 279/pair
that same (?) rotor for the Q5 is 189/pair.

so can we save money by buying Q5 rotors?

But to answer your question, I would say no going by the different heights/offsets. However, 5mm isn't a huge amount so you might be able to.

Check out autoanything. I got stoptech slotted rotors for a decent cost when I was shopping around a couple months ago.

I found the q5 rotor is compatible with the b8 s4, so no go for us.
