Question HELP: Halogen to AFS Bi-Xenon Headlights?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I purchased a 2009 Q5 3.2L Quattro back in August. It has a Premium package, and comes stock with Halogen headlights. I'm looking to replace the entire headlight with the Bi-Xenon (Premium Plus and Prestige packages), but don't know what all of the required components would be. I plan on having the headlights installed at my local Audi dealer, but if anyone could help by giving suggestions about A.) what all I need (housing, bulbs, ballasts, wiring, etc) and B.) where I could get those components other than straight from Audi.

If anyone has done something like this before, or knows where I could begin, I would be greatly appreciative of your assistance.

    Thanks!
    Peter

    Peter,

I wouldn't recommend adding the AFS component, but instead switch to the standard post-facelift bi-xenon w/ LED. I say this because you need less components and less wiring.

I can assist with a full package of of the post-facelift headlights with all of the bulbs, ballasts, controllers as well as the harnesses to convert from halogen to xenon and then to facelift lights.

If you were interested or needed more assistance do let me know via PM or email: [email protected]

    Cheers,
