    Question Virtual car disappeared on backup camera

    I made a few VCDS changes today and now the "virtual car" image has disappeared in MMI when I place it in reverse. I still have the parking sensor icons but no "virtual car." The only thing I can think of is that somewhere in the depths of VCDS I saw that a box was checked that identified my car as an A7, not an A6, and I changed it to A6. Can't imagine that would have done it. Any ideas?

    VCDS keeps a log (CodingLog.TXT) of all of the changes you make in the Ross-Tech/VCDS/Debug folder. Something you learn with VCDS is that some changes in adaptation are not reversable by just changing the option back to what it was. I would suggest changing that option back to A7 and hope it restores your virtual car. Good luck.
