Just test drove it and it felt good. The owner came from PA and bought a Golf R.

pictures would help. But either way, I doubt we know who he is. There are only a few rs4 owners who would pop in the local sections, and the most recent one to trade his in was in va

If it was ever Carbon Cleaned and DRC suspension recall completed or not.

I just want some sort of history on the car because the external (aesthetics) can be easily fixed, but the internal (engine) or mechanical issues are my concerns.

Knowing myself, I would have pulled the trigger on it by now so I don't think it's going to happen anymore.

Any dealer should be able to tell you if the recall was done if you can provide them with the VIN. Carbon cleaning - it's a toss up, but worst case, budget $650 (or whatever they run down there) in case you need to do it. The only other thing that we see go with some regularity are the starters - the cars are pretty stout otherwise. Mugello/Ti is a rare combo - car looks clean. Good luck!

Carbon Clean and DRC are sooo minor in my opinion. Being it's a Ti edition and an 2008 then most likely already has the revised DRC as the DRC issue does not affect all RS4 models. Carbon Clean is standard Maintenance and easy to do yourself, even though I opted not to.

And as far as I know, not many issue plaguing the RS4. If the car was maintained well your in good hands.

I'm legitimately tempted by this car if the OP isnt picking it up. Every rational bone in my body says stick with the S4 and its warranty, etc, but something keeps me coming back to this thread to look at this thing.

Went to drive it today as I had been wanting to for the past 2 weeks. Someone has put down a hold deposit on it but has not yet bought it.

I didn't like the color initially but upon seeing it in person, instantly fell in love with it! Congrats to whoever is planning to pick it up.
