    Alignment question...

So I went to Les Schwab to get an alignment after installing the H&R Sport springs and have come to an issue. They aligned it and I left with -1.8* -2.1* camber in the fronts which is fine, but the car pulls to the right so bad that it changes lanes when you let go of the steering wheel. Schwab refunded my money and recommended going to a place that does both conventional and sub frame alignments.

I contacted a shop and he said he can get the car to go straight, but the negative camber will still be present unless I go with adjustable control arms obviously. I just realized that you need two Spc control arm kits to do the whole front which costs $850😳 What did you lowered guys out there do??

That's not enough of a difference in camber to cause much pull. How are your tires? Try changing them side to side and see what happens.

One SPC kit covers the front, and it should be $400-450.

It definitely won't make a difference in the car pulling to one side as that's something else. If you keep toe in check and rotate your tires, wear will only be slightly worse than average, so it's your call on the arms.

Tires are brand new with knobbies still showing. Drive straight as an arrow before lowering

That's exactly what I thought, but eurocodes site says otherwise.

I'll post a pic of the alignment specs, but nothing was too out of whack...everything was mostly within oem specs. Ive personally never used adjustable arms on any of my vehicles and they have all been lowered. Thanks for the input jran!

I lowered a bit on KW V3s with stock control arms. 10k miles an tires and pretty even wear, I think they are aligned at -1° camber. Not sure why your car is behaving that way. Sounds like some kind of damage to control arms, bushings or something.

Some places sell them as one kit per wheel, but EC either has their prices wrong or they are selling as a set and the description is wrong. Modded Euros has them for $229 each. Either way, the whole set should be under $500 if you go that route.

Amazon has the arms for $226, and AWE has the full kit listed for under $400.

Yea I'm not sure why it's pulling severely to the right either...even with the current amount of negative camber, it's not that far out of oem spec.

That could be possible that one or the other is listed wrong because I thought one set did the whole upper front. Only reason I'm really considering doing the arms is the fact the bushings were trashed when I pulled them.

Shit that's cheap on Amazon, but I wonder how old the kid was that assembled them in the sweatshop😂

Nothing there that should cause a pull. However, I'm wondering why they didn't adjust the rear toe back into spec?

That's what I was thinking! They just gave up for some reason and refunded my cash.

If it makes you feel better, I have the same issue. I bought my springs used and were advertised as OE, but the way the car is dropped I'll say they're sport. Anyways, went back to alignment shop and everything was fine, rotated tires, still the same. When my car was at the dealer they put it on the alignment rack and it checked out. we're guessing it's the bushings. After driving it for a while things are better but not perfect. Not going to mess with it for now as I'm planning on going coil overs.

Ahhh shit well that sucks, but atleast I'm not he only one lol. Idk because my control arm bushings were already cracking when they were removed to install the springs, but maybe with the drop there's more stress on them and there slop is causing it?? Nothing that scrubs speed better than it driving to the right hahaha. Post up in here if you get your issue sorted before I do.
