Thinking about purchasing a 2011 A3 TDI, smog & emissions requirements and/or rebates

Hello all,

I'm looking into purchasing a manual 2011 A3 TDI - 70k miles with a salvaged title. My concern is whether or not I'm going to have problems with the whole emissions scandal. Is there anything I need to know about needing to replace any parts before I smog it? Does DMV have it on a "blacklist".

On a brighter note, are there any incentives available? I heard VW was offering some sort of rebate? I found this
