Hello Ziners. I have indeed been ghosting for the past few weeks but I have some info on spark plugs and a little review i will make this short. So I am Jhm stage 1 Tune and I was running NGK copper BKR6E for the last 2 years. replacing them every 15k miles I never liked the bosch ones. for some reason performance was decreased a little. so with the BKR6E's I always noticed a bit of vibration at idle like if I needed motor mounts. start up would sometimes hesitate a little. So I went one step colder to the BK7RE's and holy performance batman. The Idle seems like the car was off... after 3k RPMs I feel the power band and even pushes me a little in my seat. passing power is flawless. So is crazy how one step colder all this changes. they have an Iridium version of those but I like me some fresh spark plugs every 15k because racekor. lol but yeah if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

I've been running BKR7E's since 2012. I change them every oil change (5k miles). I'll never go back. I started with them gapped at .032 but have had much better results after installing the JHM FMIC for the past 2 years with them gapped @.028.

5k miles? Damn is really not necessary bro. They still look new after 5k miles. But yeah these spark plugs are amazing. I WOULD recommend it for anyone.

Actually if you put the year and model of the car those don't even appear.

my mechanic said stock plugs are fine for APR stage 2+. i should try the one step colder plugs. when the engine is cold i can feel the misfires when pushing the gas from a stop to low RPMs.

lol @ this thread. F5RDTC, PFR7S8EG, and BKR7E, and FR6KPP332S are all great plugs for stock and tuned. And stay away from F5DP0R. There are reports of the spark plug breaking. Spark plug gap range (.028-.032) I'm no expert, but you can go with a higher gap, and some have experimented with this, saying that the vehicle pulls harder throughout the powerband. What I can say, is that as cylinder pressures increase, you will need a tighter gap. The goal however is to have the largest possible gap without blowing out the spark. I believe I'm currently at .036" with BKR7E tuned JHM stg1 and no misfires because the plug is cheap - every 10k they are changed; the car feels great and is super responsive while boosting at 20-21 lbs/inch consistently! I think I ran BKR6E's in my B6 A4.

I get that but your issue was that you were running the wrong heat range Spark Plug to begin with. No pointed that out. But yes BKR7E are bomb
