2007 (b7) audi brakes locking up help please

so I have a b7 audi auto 2.0t. as im driving once in a while the brakes freeze up and I have to use the e-brake to stop. eventually the brakes unlock and they also feel spongy too normally. now when im driving like 60+mph on the highway etc when I push my brakes my steering wheel shakes like crazy like everythings about to fall apart. As the brakes are locked I cant push the brake pedal it seems as if its far enough but if you put force it goes in even further. usually when I push my brakes when they are not locked up it almost seems like I have to push my brakes all the way in. heres to keep in mind I do need balance and alignment and new tires as I have tires and will do balance and alignment when I mount my tires. also I believe I need a right axle too but that shouldn't be the problem as too why my steering wheel shakes bc it shakes when I push the brakes. anyone know what the problem can be or know from experience what it is. let me know thanks.

Lack of maintenance, worn brakes, insufficient brake fluid, and what you said

I had the brakes done early last year. I will have to check brake fluid but I don't think that will cause it to freeze and lock up.

If you had the brakes done, take it back to where you had them done.

Could be fluid issue, air in the line, mechanical lock. Do yourself and everyone around you a favor and DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR. For obvious reasons your car is dangerous. Get it fixed asap.
