What's the best snub mount to get? Autohausaz only lists one but I've heard is better to get the hard polyurethane one. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Had my ebay one for a year now too, still no issues. It is a little softer than some poly that I have put on cars. But being a daily, fairly non modded A4 I dont want my teeth to chatter.

They appear to be "cheap" aftermarket mounts. Most B7 automatics have an electrical mount on the driver's side and I don't see any pigtails in those pics. The seller is probably correct in saying that they will "fit"....they just won't function like OE mounts and you'll probably need a resistor to avoid a CEL.

I was wondering the same thing and the vendor deutschepartsusa says they are electric however the picture is hard to see....

    This is their response,

    "eutschepartsusa:

Yes this is a Perfect Fit.
These are electric, you see the cut in the Aluminum, that is for the Socket that you will pull out from your current Mounts & insert it in these Mounts."

This is covered in a few DIY's ..... but having recently installed this part in a cold climate first warm it up in a microwave for about a minute and put a tiny touch of brake lube on the interior prior to trying to install it ..... makes the whole job a lot easier.

Just spray it down with WD 40 and it literally pops right on. No need to microwave it or do anything else.
