    1. They aren't much better than your stock smic. They may be bigger and be in a better spot exposed to more air, but the fin density is worse, and will hardly lower your iats.
    2. They WILL NOT fit. Serious cutting to your bumper support is required, so say goodbye to your engine in any front end collision. And also I hope you hate your bumper because you're going to have to cut the majority of your lower and not run fog light grilles and it's going to look like a hacked up eBay ricer.

Do yourself a favor. Get an evolution recewerks sport. They'll be plenty good for anything up to a gt28, and they fit with almost no trimming. All the grilles still fit too. They have a Garrett core that has the highest fin density of any of the other available fmics for our cars. Not to mention they've been proven to lower IAT's back to ambient immediately after releasing the throttle, and keep IAT's at no more than 8° above ambient on the throttle.
You won't feel a difference with an eBay cooler. Just don't do it.

I recommend the Treadstone TR6. Performs great, it's cheap ($250ish), and doesn't require cutting of the support. You'll have to trim the bumper a bit but you'll be able to retain fogs, grills, etc.

Pair it with some eBay piping (I ordered mine from Aliexpress for $60) and you're good to go.

    Treadstone goodness

    Aliexpress pipes

The prices on Ali fluctuate by the minute. Looks like you can get a set for a cool $83.23 shipped right now.

I have a buddy who has the kit below.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/BOLT-ON-ALUM...BV4auV&vxp=mtr

Fits well no cutting required and you can still use your fogs and stock grilles. Looks nice behind a USP bumper too.

Core isn't the best but when we logged IAT's they were actually more stable on warm days than with the factory unit.

For a K03/K04 I would recommend it but if you go with anything larger ditch the core it came with and upgrade to something with better fin density.
