Wrapping Rear Valence?

I may go with the Deval front lip... Not sold on their rear diffuser. Thoughts on wrapping the rear valence? Will it look weird in Carbon? Will I be able to find a wrap that matches the Deval weave?

3m makes some carbon wrap and I used it on my caddy to do the same thing...wrap the rear valance. Turns out nice, but it's a pain to do perfectly.

It'll be tough to really match the Deval weave with a wrap if that is what you are after.

One other thing I didn't think about when we talked about this.... In general, I don't like the gray diffuser. However, if you are sticking with the gray wheels, I think it helps tie into to that, and I'd call it a toss up. That's really the only reason I'd keep the gray, but something to consider if you are set on keeping the stock piece.

Oh sorry to double post, but the quote thing didn't work. Anyways, I agree with Jran. I'm not a fan of the rear diffuser, but it works well since I currently have the stock front grille (grey) chrome trim, silver mirrors and silver wheels. That grey does balance very well with the grey wheels. Then again, I'm not a fan of CF wraps either. Too much CF is kinda like too much of a good thing lol.

Those look pretty gray to me. Do you have a pic of your wheels and rear diffuser in the same pic?

Good point, I thought they were more gunmetal for some reason. For my taste (take that for what it's worth) my vote would be matching color to the wheels over black or CF. Too much black is also too much of a good thing.

I totally agree... More inclined to having a shop paint the valence and audi rings and emblem to match the wheels.

Hate to say it (since I'm also not usually a fan of colored/painted rings), but I think that would look very nice. The dark grey would offset the black of the BO trim very nicely. Lemme see pics when you're done!

It's actually pretty subtle in person. Nothing like the Enlaes... Which I like, but is a bit too racecar for this platform unless it's a really aggressive build (ala vaderS4)

I have wrapped some side skirts with the 3m carbonfibre style wrap.I ended up clear coating it with a few coats,It looked really good and gave it some depth and more of a "real" look

The stock rear diffuser is awful. Why they couldn't make the rear diffuser nice on these cars is beyond me.

A friend just had his painted gloss black from Audi when he picked it up on his S5. Better but the shape is what kills it and its like trying to polish a turd :)
