Audi B8 A4 2.0T Quattro - Looking for an exhaust system!

    Hi All,

I'm looking to get a cat-back exhaust system for my 2010 Audi A4. With past experience, what does anybody have or has had experience with?

I've found 3 that look good. I just want to make sure they sound good and don't have too much drone noise.

    1. AWE Tuning Touring Edition Exhaust for Audi A4 B8

    2. MILLTEK DUAL OUTLET CAT-BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM W/ CERAKOTE BLACK GT100 TIPS

    3. CTS Turbo B8 A4 2.0T Catback

    Thanks!

I just received my B&B catback for my '12 Avant today. It'll be going on tomorrow... I'll chime in with my thoughts on it if you're interested.
    Thanks,\

B&B = Billy Boats Performance Exhaust.

I put it on myself this morning and is was a PITA, but I did it all without help which was what made it so bad. It sounds good, fits well & looks great being all S/S. Butt dyno seems to indicate a definite improvement too.
    Thanks,\

I just purchased the AWE Tuning Touring Edition Exhaust for Audi A4 B8. I found good reviews on it and got a decent price. Going to install it when it comes in and I'll share how it goes.

I have an KN&N typhoon intake in right now. When I accelerate it has a very annoying whistling sound. Fortunately KN&N has a 100% satisfaction guarantee so I'll get my money back. However, I'm looking to find a different intake and it seems that it's a reoccurring issue.

Does anybody have any recommendations of a good intake with reduced whining noise?

Milltek usually has a reputation of being quiet, but sounding very good.

The B8 turbo likes to whistle and whine. Not saying it's not your intake just digesting that may be what your hearing. I've found that the intakes that are covered seem to mask this a little bit more. For instance the APR carbonio or the ECS kohlefaser vs your k&n or the ECS luft-technik.

I have the Injen intake, I'm not sure what the typhoon sounds like but I wouldn't call the injen a "whistle" its more of a "whoosh" that really only comes on abouve 2.5k RPM. I'll see if I can grab some sound clips for you.
