    So gents.

As I await the new manifold cover from #eventuri I have some emblems I will be attaching to get it looking OEM. Rings, RS5, V8 FSI. Wonderng the best adhesive or glue to use for attaching theses things that will also work withthe elements and heat of hte engine bay.

    Experience? Suggestions? Discuss...

    Thanks.

Looks like this should do it.

We use many different loctite products at work and they hold like crazy.

Thanks brudduh. Interesting. You think the engine bay gets over 250 F. seems like it... may be freaking for no reason but not keen on parts falling into the engine area.... This says rated -65 - 250 f

The carbon fibre used to make the cover is more than likely a prepreg epoxy resin so you could use an epoxy like this http://www.amazon.com/Loctite-Hysol-.../dp/B000WXL1YE Or use something that will be good in a high heat and high vibration area maybe a high temp silicone adhesive http://www.loctite.co.uk/loctite-408...=8802626797569 that would be better.
-60'C to +250'C and allows for up to a 1mm gap so even if the badge isn't entirely flush to the surface you are still ok.

I mean I find it hard to believe the temperature of the engine cover exceeds 250F, ambient temperatures in the bay after driving do I'm sure which I wouldn't be as concerned about. Most covers I've touched have only ever been "Warm to the touch" not screaming hot.

Makes sense. Either way had to send it back for a new one.
