I'm debating on making the move from my built B5 S4 to the RS4 world. Anyone willing to take me for a ride in the Boston area? I'm in Southern NH mostly but travel. Thanks.

Im up in salem MA. Quattro, lets do a GTG, itd be cool to compare bone stock to 600 HP and scare the new guy ;)

Ive got JHM tune, exhaust and downpipes. We should do a meet, weather is pretty nice and I'd love to check out Quattro's twin turbo set up. I need more power =)

Hopefully its not too forward, but Rick, would you mind hosting a meet on an off day? Id love to check out the shop anyways and it seems to be pretty central in location to all the peeps in this thread. If thats not doable, anyone have any ideas for central meet locations?

Yea I'm down to meet up. I'd love to take a ride in a variety of setups. Maybe a few runs. My B5 makes about 570whp so it could be fun.

You will look down at the emergency brake thinking that it is still up when you get on it compared to the B5 S4 torque and power. The car is a 4000lb pig with no torque. Having said that, it has a chassis that is miles better/stiffer, much nicer interior and an engine/exhaust note to die for. Great pull up top but 317lb of torque for a car so heavy is a fail compared to B5 S4. besides the power, it is superior to the B5 S4 in all other terms. Shifter is awesome compared to the B5. Love to read your opinion after a drive.

I used to own both.

Yea my car when it had k04s was a tq monster. With these gtx28s it's laggy til 4K but pulls hard all the way to 8k when it hits.

Saw a daytona gray with quad exhaust a 1/4 mile from the shop (lexington,ma) last night at a gas station. anyone? i stuck a card on/in the door window. couldn't hang around and wait. in a hurry.

I'm going to be in the Tewksbury area tomorrow and would love to meet up. I found a car I want to move on ASAP. Problem is I can't test drive it due to distance so I would like to experience a RS before I dive in. Thanks guys.

well i live 5 mins from there, but the car is on a lift, under a cover. i would make sure you get a prepurchase done. wouldnt buy a car sight unseen.

OP, any luck with getting a ride? Seems like this "quattro weather"might put a damper on any real metric gathering! PPI is a must, and also worth going the extra mile to get a leak down test as well, these aluminum blocks sometimes have scoring issues. Aside from that, seriously lets get something going at Auto Engineering when the weather warms back up!
