Gearing up for roadtrip to NY to pick up parts but....

I found a couple junkyards that are along the way so instead of just taking the truck, I'm hooking the trailer up too. I called one yard to ask about the wide body door blades cause his ad clearly said parting out and (parts only) next to the vehicle description. But he told me on the phone that he wouldn't sell me the blades because then he wouldn't be able to sell the doors without the "moldings at the bottom". I started to loose it a little bit like why do you put an ad up saying your parting out these cars and your not truly parting them out. But I just figured maybe when I show up with some cash in his face maybe he will have a different outlook on things. A question I have is he also has 2 sets of pie plate with looking at the pics have pretty decent tires on them as well. What would you consider to be a steal or decent price for 2 sets of pie plates from wide body 6's? I was thinking of trying to get him to let them go for 4 or 5 hundred? Paint one set to put on my 2.7 and then sell the other set, as long as they are in good condition. Anything else I should keep my eye open for? Leaving the house around 930 or so so ill be checking back for any input. Thanks guys!
