    I highly doubt that 2017 RS7 performance or not will have virtual cockpit. I think that option will be available in the C8.

    it will not have it. the 17 q7 is a FULL redesign ground up, the rs7 is still a carry over model even though theirs a performance bump

    Not until C8. If they were going to add something of that nature between body styles, it would have come with the facelift.

    Let us not forget the 16'+ TT and 17'+ R8 have it as well! I am sure all the new chassis' will have the new virtual cockpit as they are released. I do not think the RS3 we are getting has it though which seems odd and was my biggest reason for moving into an S6 now rather than waiting for the RS3. That (basically) B8 gauge cluster is so... Outdated. I cannot understand how the little TT gets a modern instrument cluster, yet the MQB platform for the 3 gets essentially only a refreshed B8 gauge cluster?

    Yes the TT is modern but it's still not a flexible as it should be. 20 years ago I could configure a GUI with any and all of the displays that I wanted for a particular situation and they were re-callable configurations. The new system still does not allow that and makes you keep switching between displays to see all that I want.

    I.E. I want to see ALA, ACC, speed, Revs, Lap Timer/oil temp/shift points, temp, fan speed, air direction, xm channel, artist and song title by moving my eyes and not by having to press buttons.
