Progression to RS

Starting to think about my next ride and wanted to ask RS owners....how did you progress to your RS?

1. A6/7 ---> S 6/7 ---> RS 6/7
2. S6/7 ---> RS 6/7
3. A6/7 ---> RS 6/7
4. Non Audi ---> RS 6/7
5. S 4/5, RS4 ---> RS 6/7

I jumped right to the rs6 as my first audi

Still have the Q7... I really like it for the once a week I'm in it heading to a travel baseball game.

there is a Nogaro Blue RS7 in the greater Atlanta area and i have never seen it, i am now sad - Caffeine & Octane this Sunday?

next car will be rs for sure, just depends whats out at the time and which version of the rs5 we will be getting but here would be mine:

s4 > rs4 > s4 > s4 > s6 > RS something theirs a q5 in there too but that's the wife's car so it doesn't count

Started in 2011 until 2014, basically I changed Audi every year until last year that I could manage to skip a year from getting a new car...I know it's not financially healthy.

I would have gone RS6 if we had the damn thing here! I drove a few RS7s and rode in a tuned one and while I love the look and the extra trunk space due to the hatch, I much prefer the 6 appearance wise.

That escalated quickly. I am C5 a6--> C7 a6 mofified --> kicking around an RS7 for the next ride. Skip the whole S model.

Here is mine - bus&bike -> A4 -> c7 A6 -> c7.5 A6 . TBH I am pretty happy with the way C7.5 has improved over the C7. Now just to keep myself from visiting cars.com and autotrader.com

I'm contemplating on whether to move into a S6/7 in the near future or wait a ~1 yr or so and get a RS7. Would go CPO either way. This is my weekend, drive 1-2x week only if there is no rain or snow outside vehicle aka garage queen. I'm not in a rush.....I do love my A6 but seeing all the bad ass rides in this forum is killing me!
